Information

Stradavari used premium materials for this violin, a detail we have been able to replicate using wonderful maple in the two piece back and carefully selected wood for the belly, which is straight and even and highly resonant.

The sound keeps surprising us and just when we think we understand it in terms of it’s combination of brilliance and roundness it confounds us and presents a different show of focus and depth. This really is a violin in the Stradavari mould and differs from the violins that we often make based on del Gesù which commonly demand a different kind of playing.
